Sales – Solar Project Developer for Agricultural, Commercial, Industrial

Sunworks United, Inc. is seeking full-time Project Developers to join our Commercial Sales team. Headquartered in Roseville, CA we have offices throughout California, and service multiple states. This role will assist in developing accounts within the Bay Area and North/Central Valley region. We are looking for experienced sales individuals who are energetic and passionate about helping business owners save money.

Experienced sales individuals with an existing book of business and/or contacts in related industries such as dairies, farming, industrial, and large scale commercial business are encouraged to apply. Project Developers also generate leads by spending much of their time in the field visiting prospective customers.

Essential Functions:

  • Generating viable leads
  • Obtaining customer authorization to analyze electrical usage
  • Conducting site surveys
  • Efficiently and effectively building relationships
  • Communicating with project managers regarding system design
  • Appropriate / diligent follow-up through project build, completion, and even beyond

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience with solar electric installation, design, or sales, highly desired
  • BA Degree in communication, business, or related field desired, but not required
  • Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to discuss the benefits of Solar energy with prospective customers
  • Reliable, trustworthy and motivated
  • Self-starter committed to putting forth the effort needed to be successful in a sales role
  • Ability and willingness to work within a team environment and travel as needed to engage prospects
  • Always presents a professional demeanor
  • Adept with mathematical calculations
  • PC proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Ability to successfully pass a background / DMV check and pre-employment or random drug screening
