Sierra College Self Storage

Sierra Self Storage made the decision to go solar to reduce operating costs for climate controlled units that require a lot of air conditioning year round as well as general energy usage throughout the property. A typical electric bill is around $1,000 a month for Sierra Self Storage prior to solar being installed.

Going solar presented a better way for Sierra College to manage the facility.

With a solar power system size of 63 kW, about half of the energy cost has been reduced on the property. Since being able to save this much on energy, Sierra College is able to offer better benefits for employees as well as offer more competitave rates for their customers.
