SUNworks Donates a 10.2kW Solar System to Habitat for Humanity ReStore
SUNworks is donating a 10.2kW solar system for Habitat for Humanity ReStore center in Yuba County and we’re teaching students about how solar works as well as how to install solar on the Habitat Restore’s rooftop. We will be educating students who come to ReStore on solar, how it works, why it’s important to the environment, how it saves money, and how to install solar. The students will be helping SUNworks installers install the solar panels on top of the store. We are hopeful this will spark an interest in renewable technology and help steer these youths in the right path in education and career choices.

ReStore provides an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials, out of the waste stream and simultaneously provide funding for Habitat’s community improvement work.
