Ryan Fowler

Ryan Fowler joined the Sunworks team in December 2022. Ryan is an accomplished and employee-focused human resource executive with successful, wide-ranging experience translating business objectives into HR initiatives, resulting in a culture of engaged employees who achieve company goals. Most recently, Ryan served as Vice President of Human Resources at Cottonwood Residential in Salt Lake City, Utah. While at Cottonwood Residential, Ryan accomplished rapid increase in employee base, reaching 850 associates at 135 locations in 26 states. He also crafted, executed, and maintained 401(k) retirement plan of $10M, partially self-funded health benefits plan of $4M, and large deductible workers compensation plan of $500K. Some of Ryan’s areas of expertise include development of HR strategies, team building, employment risk mitigation, talent acquisition and retention, 401(k) plan administration, business and regulatory compliance, and performance management. He is certified as a professional in Human Resources and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Utah Tech University.
