Seeking Entry Level Residential PV Solar Installer

Position Summary:
Mechanically minded individual to work in the field as a PV Solar Installer for residential and light commercial grid-tied photovoltaic (PV) systems. Be able to work cohesively and under the supervision of field management. Responsible for assisting with the installation of solar electric systems as directed/planned by field and office management.

Responsibilities: (included but not limited to)
1. Rooftop panel mounting
2. Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment
3. System troubleshooting
4. Customer interaction
5. Miscellaneous labor work.
6. Pulling inventory for specific projects
7. Assist with layout of solar modules / array
8. Assembly of mounting hardware
9. Attic work in homes and businesses to verify structural attachment
10. Site clean-up
11. Drive to and from the job site as required
12. Pre-assemble job components in the warehouse
13. Perform tool maintenance as required
14. Perform system service as required
15. Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, methodology and safety

Requirements:
1. Disciplined, self–motivated work style
2. Experience in mechanical installations, general construction and ladder work
3. Must have a clean DMV record and pass a drug test
