Dutra Farms located in Manteca, California primarily operates as a dairy farm business within the Agricultural production. In 2015, Dutra Farms contacted Sunworks to install a 454 kW solar panel system consisting of both fixed ground mount and roof arrays.

CHALLENGE

With ever increasing energy costs, Dutra Farms was finding it difficult to offset the cost of electricity useage on the dairy farm.

SOLUTION

Sunworks installed multiple roof solar panels over the calf pens on the dairy farm to make the best use of the space available. Ground mount solar panels were also installed at different well sites to maximize solar effeciency on the property.

OUTCOME

With the help of Sunworks, Dutra Farms was able to offset their electric bill, saving them thousands in electric costs every year.
