Santa Barbara Humane

"In 2020, Santa Maria Valley Humane Society merged with the Santa Barbara Humane Society. The change made it possible to combine resources and expand services to the community. It is now known as Santa Barbara Humane. Now, both the Santa Barbara campus on Overpass Road and the Santa Maria campus on Stowell Road serve the community with shelter, animal adoptions, full-service veterinary clinics, and behavior training. Sunworks installed a 87 kW solar panel system on the roof of the Santa Maria campus."
