Roseville’s SUNworks to move into larger headquarters

SUNworks, a Roseville-based solar power company, has secured a larger 20,000-square-foot building in Roseville to house its expanded operations.
The move to the new location, at 1010 Winding Creek Road, is expected to be completed this month. SUNworks currently operates at 1358 Blue Oaks Blvd.
SUNworks is a wholly owned subsidiary of Solar3D Inc., a Santa Barbara-based developer of solar-cell technology.
With more than 12,000 square feet of warehouse space, multiple docking stations and office space, officials said the new site will help accommodate SUNworks’ expansion into the Southern California market by year’s end.
In a statement, SUNworks President Emil Beitpolous said: “It is remarkable to think that just five years ago we moved into this 6,000-square-foot building with room for growth, and now we are tripling the size of our building to maintain production at optimal levels.”
SUNworks, which was acquired by Solar3D earlier this year, focuses on design, installation and management of solar systems for agricultural, commercial and residential customers.
